Paediatric nephrology

Our paediatric nephrology services are run at our dedicated children’s hospital based at St Helier Hospital, Queen Mary's Hospital for Children.

We offer outpatients services for younger patients with kidney problems, which are bolstered by running alongside our children's x-ray department, children's pharmacy, and other high-class specialist imaging services on site at St Helier Hospital.

The service caters for children of all ages: during pregnancy, after birth, and all the way up until 18 years of age.

In addition to the general kidney disease clinics, and incontinence and wet children services, we have regular dedicated specialist clinics for children with complex kidney disease, urological surgical problems and special adolescent clinics for young people with kidney disease, which is run jointly between the paediatric team and the adult renal team.
