Ear, nose and throat surgery

Ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgery may be required for a large number of conditions: from tonsils and adenoids to complex cochlear implants for deafness, and the treatment of head and neck cancer.

Because of the complexity of the anatomy of the head and neck, these operations can be major procedures and might involve plastic surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, neurosurgeons and oncologists.

For adults, we offer advice and treatment on a full range of ENT conditions, including

In the treatment of disease of the ear and the management of deafness, our audiology department provides the essential assessment and measurement of hearing defects and the provision of hearing aids for patients.
