Accessing pathology test results online
You can access pathology results from our hospitals through your computer’s web browser. In order to access this, you will need a login.
Access for those with access to NHS.net will be free of charge, however for those without access to NHS.net a nominal yearly charge (approx £100) will be made for a secure ID token to provide access.
The following results are available online:
- Blood sciences (chemical pathology, haematology and immunology)
- Blood bank
- Microbiology
- Cellular pathology.
Before you apply for user access, a technical application must be completed, available from our pathology IT department. Once this has been processed you will be able to access the website and you are invited to apply for access for your users.
Your staff will be limited to viewing results that were originally requested by your organisation. We will discuss this in more detail once we have received your application for user accounts.
How to apply for access
Ask for a technical application form and return the filled in form to pathology IT at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. We will contact you after this contact to discuss your individual requirements, and set up user details.
Identify a named individual within your practice/organisation who will be responsible for the security and administration of the programme.
Open the pathresults website and follow the link to the application form pack. You must read and agree to abide by the confidentiality and information sharing sections.
Fill in the application form electronically and send back to us via email.
You will be issued with appropriate log-ins and passwords which you should be able to use from any PC/terminal covered by the agreement. There is a help section within the programme and there will be simple user instructions accessible from the front page.
If you would like any further information please contact us by email.
