Patient Transport Service
We have a patient transport service for patients who have a genuine medical need and are unable to travel to hospital on their own. Please note there is an eligibility criteria for patients requiring transport services.
Booking Patient Transport
From 7 January 2025 - Patients requiring transport for outpatient appointments need to call 0208 296 3960 - option 1 to book, cancel or amend transport.
Bookings need to be made a minimum of 48hrs before your date of travel. Bookings may be made up to one month in advance.
Patients registered with a GP under the Surrey Heartlands CCG
(East Surrey, Guildford and Waverley, North West Surrey, and Surrey Downs)
To book/check the status of your transport please contact the EMED patient transport booking line on 0300 131 2400. The booking line is open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
Patients registered with a GP under the following catchment areas (Bromley, Chiltern, Croydon, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow, Kingston, Lambeth, Merton, Richmond, Southwark, Sutton & Wandsworth)
