Industrial action by patient transport staff
Members of the GMB union among our patient transport staff have voted in favour of industrial action on 24 April and 2, 3 and 7 May in a dispute over backdated pay.
No appointments are expected to be cancelled and we are prioritising alternative travel arrangements for people with cancer and other serious conditions.
All patients should please attend their planned appointments as usual, unless contacted by us to rearrange.

Our transport staff play a crucial role in helping us deliver the best care we can. We pay all our permanent staff and contractors the London Living Wage (LLW) or above, and we have increased this earlier than the latest recommendations to reflect the higher cost of living in the capital.
