Health experts working in Malawi now have the capability to take on more complex life-saving procedures, thanks to a donation of two anaesthetic machines from St Helier Hospital.

Nurses caring for patients living with dementia at Epsom and St Helier hospitals have developed a series of initiatives to help connect with those patients, keep them comfortable and support their families.

A brand new children’s audiology department is being created at St Helier Hospital, meaning that newborns who need their very first hearing check and children who require investigations and treatment will soon be seen in a fresh new environment, stocked full of state-of-the-art equipment. 

Elderly patients who are admitted to St Helier Hospital with a fractured hip are receiving some of the best care in the country, according to a new national report.
