Nominate our brilliant AHPs and support workers in the ICB's new awards.
Surrey Heartlands Health and Care AHP Faculty has launched, for the first time, an Allied Health Professionals Award to celebrate the success and hard work of our AHPs. Nominees can also include Support Workers (SWs) who have contributed to important development work.
Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership (SHHCP), are aware that many AHPs, and Support Workers, are involved not only with the day-to-day work of running a service, but often contribute or lead other project work that has a positive impact on patients, patient’s pathway/outcomes, or colleagues, or the service as a whole. Therefore, Surrey Heartlands would like to celebrate our wonderful AHPs and SWs that go above and beyond their scope of practice to deliver some great, innovative work. There are nine categories to choose from and the deadline for entry submission is the 22 September. I am attaching an entry form as well as information on the categories and the process.
SHHCP have used our networks and platforms to reach as many AHPs as possible however, to ensure that none has missed out on the opportunity to nominate a colleague or team we would like to ask for your help in disseminating the message across your organisations.
They are planning to present the shortlisted nominees the week leading up to AHP day (14 October). This will be an online presentation to which all AHPs will be invited, followed by a formal award presentation.
You can download the award nomination form here and the award ceremony information on the categories and process here. For more information, please contact: Loredana Corrado, AHP Faculty Project Manager, Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care System at: l.corrado@nhs.net or 0300 561 0809.
