Hospital doors open wide for Annual Public Meeting
Epsom and St Helier hospitals are inviting members of the public to join their Annual Public Meeting – a chance for patients, visitors and local residents to put their questions to hospital leaders and hear more about how the hospitals performed over the last year.
Taking place on Tuesday 28 June, the event will be held in the Postgraduate Medical Centre at St Helier Hospital (1st floor of B block in the main hospital building) from 6pm until 8pm.
The evening will begin with refreshments and a chance to find out about a selection of key services at the hospitals, followed by a review of the year from our Chief Executive Daniel Elkeles and a presentation about our finances from Chief Financial Officer Rakesh Patel. The Head of Nursing and the Director of SWLEOC (the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre), which was recently rated as ‘outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), will also be on hand to present about their services.
Guests will be welcome to put their questions to speakers after each section of the meeting, with a general question and answer session at the end of the meeting.
