Choose well this Easter weekend
Statement from Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
All of us across south west London (Croydon Health, Epsom and St Helier, Kingston and St George’s) are currently seeing and treating an increased number of patients and this is putting all of our hospitals under a great deal of pressure. To ensure that we can continue to provide care to the patients with the greatest medical needs over the four day Easter weekend, can we please urge people to visit a pharmacist, walk in centre and out of hours GPs where possible or contact NHS 111 – A&E should only be visited in an emergency.
We also ask that any patients suffering from diarrhoea and vomiting or flu-like symptoms to please not come to A&E.
