Calling All Knitters for the Jubilee celebrations
The Patient Experience and Partnership Team are running a project to display red, white and blue bunting across Epsom, St Helier and our community sites to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Calling all knitters
We are challenging Epsom and St Helier staff to knit us some red, white and blue bunting to display around our hospital sites for the Platinum Jubilee in June. Check out what People Business Advisor, Mark Waterhouse’s mum knitted a couple of weeks ago for inspiration! We cannot wait to see your masterpieces.

For those knitters out there that want to get involved, please see the knitting pattern here.
Other ways to help out
We are also accepting bunting that you might have spare from previous celebrations, or that has been brought from a shop. We would love to rehome your bunting if it is red, white and blue, or have some United Kingdom branding on them.
How to submit your bunting
If you want to send us some bunting to help our staff get in the spirit for the Platinum Jubilee, please pack them in a box, bag, or envelope and hand them into the main reception at St Helier (B block) or drop them off to the PALS office (in Headley Wing next to the pharmacy) at Epsom. Please mark any bunting parcels as FAO: Patient Experience and Partnership Team.
Please send all your bunting in by no later than Monday 18 May.
Thanks in advance for your help! We cannot wait to see your creations.
