Advice for patients and visitors as rail strikes get under way
Epsom and St Helier hospitals will be open and running as usual this week when rail and Tube strikes get under way.
However, if you are visiting one of our sites, there are things that you can do to help.
Staff will be coming in, as usual, to ensure those who need us get the care they need. The Trust has put a number of measures in place to ensure these staff are unaffected.
For visitors and patients, our car parks will be open as usual – but please note these will be busy. If you have an appointment and you are driving, we would encourage you to leave plenty of time for your journey. If possible, ask someone to drop you off to free spaces up for people most in need.
If you live near enough and you are physically able to do so, please also consider walking or cycling.
And, of course, local bus services will also be running.
